This book was published to accompany the exhibition 10-gruppen 30 år, 29 March - 12 August 2001 at the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm. Since their start in 1970 as a radical protest group, challenging the conservatism of the textile industry, the group Ten Swedish Designers have occupied a prominent position in the history of Swedish 20th century design. Their patterns, dynamic and graphic, witty and cheerful, in vibrant colours, have attracted the public for 30 years. Their succes story is told by a design journalist and historian who has followed their progress closely. Her text is knowledgeable and entertaining, accompanied by interviews with the artist and is lavishly illustrated with photos of fbrics, posters, wallpaper and accessories.
