Debasis Giri is at present Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), West Bengal, India, prior to Professor (in Computer Science and Engineering) and Dean (in School of Electronics, Computer Science and Informatics) of Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India. He did his masters (M.Tech. and M.Sc.) both from IIT Kharagpur, India, and also completed his Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, India. He was tenth all-India rank holder in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering in 1999. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals/ conferences. His current research interests include cryptography, information security, blockchain technology, e-commerce security and design and analysis of algorithms. He is Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of many International Journals. He is also Program Committee Member of International Conferences.
SK Hafizul Islam received the M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from Vidyasagar University, India, in 2006, and the M.Tech. degree in Computer Application and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2009 and 2013, respectively, from Indian Institute of Technology [IIT (ISM)] Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India, under the INSPIRE Fellowship Ph.D. Program (funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India). He is currently Assistant at Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani (IIIT Kalyani), West Bengal, India. Before joining the IIIT Kalyani, he was Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, India. He has authored or co-authored 150 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include cryptography, information security, lattice-based cryptography, IoT and blockchain security, and deep learning. He has edited four books for the publishers Scrivener-Wiley, Elsevier, and CRC Press. Athanasios V. Vasilakos is with the Center for AI Research (CAIR), University of Agder(UiA), Grimstad, Norway. He served or is serving as Editor for many technical journals, such as the IEEE Transactions on AI, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management; IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics; IEEE Transactions on Nanobioscience; IEEE Transactions on Information Technology in Biomedicine; ACM Transactions on Autonomous and Adaptive Systems; the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications. He is WoS highly cited researcher(HC).
Muhammad Khurram Khan Professor of cybersecurity at the Center of Excellence in Information Assurance, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He is Founder and CEO of "Global Foundation for Cyber Studies and Research,” an independent and non-partisan cybersecurity think-tank in Washington, D.C., USA. He is Editor-in-Chief of “Telecommunication Systems.” Furthermore, he is Area Editor (Cybersecurity) of IEEE Communications Surveys &Tutorials. Moreover, he has been on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Journal of Network & Computer Applications, IEEE Access, IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, etc. He has published over 450 papers and is an inventor of 10 US/PCT patents. He is Chair of the task group of International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on child online protection in the Metaverse.
