Jeng-Shyang Pan is the Professor and the Dean of Artificial Intelligence Research Institute in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. He also got the part-time work in Shandong University of Science and Technology. He received the B. S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, the M. S. degree in Communication Engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, U.K. in 1996. He has published more 500 papers indexed by SCI, the H-Index is 72 and the total cited times are more than 21000. He is the IET Fellow, UK and has been the Vice Chair of IEEE Tainan Section. He was Awarded Gold Prize in the International Micro Mechanisms Contest held in Tokyo, Japan in 2010. He was also awarded Gold Medal in the Pittsburgh Invention & New Product Exposition (INPEX) in 2010, Gold Medal in the International Exhibition of Geneva Inventions in 2011 and Gold Medal of the IENA, International “Ideas – Inventions – New products“, Nuremberg, Germany in 2011. His current research interests include soft computing, artificial intelligence and information hiding.
Dr. Thi Thi Zin is the First Woman Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Miyazaki, Japan. She was born in Yangon, Myanmar. She received her Bachelor Degree of Science specializing in Mathematics from Yangon University in 1995. She earned her first Master Degree of Information Science from University of Computer Studies, Yangon in 1999. She received her second Master Degree of Engineering (Electrical and Information Engineering) in 2004 from Osaka City University, Japan. She received her Ph.D. degree in the field of Image Processing in 2007 from Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka City University, Japan. From 2007 to 2009, she was awarded a Postdoctoral Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). After the JSPS, she served as a Specially Appointed Researcher and Specially Appointed Assistant Professor in the University of Tokyo and Osaka City University until 2013. Then, she was appointed as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Miyazaki. In 2016, she was promoted to the Full Professorship in Faculty of Engineering, University of Miyazaki, Japan. Her research interests include Human Behavior Understanding, Intelligent Transportation systems, Cow Behavior Analysis, Health Care Monitoring Systems and Image Recognition. She is a member of IEEE. Dr. Thi Thi Zin has published more than 120 research papers in reputable International Journals including IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronic, Scientific Reports and she presented more than 150 research papers in International Conferences. Dr. Thi Thi Zin served the Conference Chairs of IEEE-GCCE2020 and IEEE-LifeTech2022. She also served as a Local Arrangement Chair of IEEE SMC2018. She was an IEEE CTSoc Board of Governors (2021-2023) and IEEE CTSoc Women in Engineering Committee Chair (2021-2023). She is actively involved in WIE activities.
Tien-Wen Sung received his Ph.D. degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from Department of Electrical Engineering at Cheng Kung University, Taiwan in 2014. He is now a Full Professor in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Fujian University of Technology, China. He is awarded the Taiwanese Outstanding Talents in Fujian Province of China. He is also a member of IEEE, ACM, IAENG, EAI, CCF, and AFCEC. He is now the executive editor of Journal of Information Hiding and Multimedia Processing, the associate editor of Journal of Network Intelligence, and the academic editor of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing. As a guest editor, he has edited several special issues of SCI journals. He has published more than 80 research papers indexed by SCI, SSCI, or EI, including an ESI highly cited paper, and won the Excellent/Best Paper Awards from several conferences. He also served as a reviewer for many journals and served as a committee member for many conferences. He is the leader of several research projects funded by the governments and university. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Wireless Sensor Networks, and U-Learning.
Jerry Chun-Wei Lin is currently working as a Professor at the Silesian University of Technology, Poland. He has published many top-tier research papers in refereed journals and conferences and is the leader of the well-known SPMF project, which provides more than 200 data mining algorithms and has been widely cited in many different applications (around 900 citations). He has been awarded as the Most Cited Chinese Researcher in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 by Elsevier/Scopus and Top-2% Scientist in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 respectively by Stanford University. He is the Fellow of IET (FIET), ACM Distinguished Member (Scientist), and IEEE Senior Member.
