Franci Suni-Lopez is a Researcher and Lecturer at Universidad de Lima, Peru, where he currently leads the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in affective computing with a focus on developing AI-driven emotion detection algorithms to enhance software adaptability and personalization. His work bridges computer science, psychology, and human-computer interaction (HCI) to create intelligent systems capable of interpreting and responding to human emotions in real time. Additionally, his research explores persuasive technologies, aiming to promote behavioral change through AI-powered interventions. He investigates how digital systems can subtly guide users toward healthier habits, improved learning outcomes, and increased productivity, emphasizing the ethical and human-centered design of AI applications. Franci actively collaborates with international research groups, contributing to multidisciplinary studies that integrate AI, cognitive sciences, and social robotics. He has published in high-impact journals and conferences, participated in industry-academic partnerships, and led projects applying AI to real-world challenges in healthcare, education, and user experience design.

Eunice Pereira dos Santos Nunes is a Professor at the Institute of Computer Science at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). She earned her Ph.D. in 2014 from the Electrical Engineering Program at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP), which included a sandwich period at the University of Coimbra. Eunice Nunes serves as the Director of Regional Secretariats for the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC). Her main research areas include Virtual and Augmented Reality, Game Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Government, and Gender and Technology. In addition to her teaching and research, Eunice is actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within the tech community. She frequently participates in conferences and workshops, sharing her expertise and advocating for the representation of women in technology.
