This two-volume set, CCIS 2370 and CCIS 2371, constitutes the proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Computer-Human Interaction Research and Applications, CHIRA 2024, held Porto, Portugal, during November 21–22, 2024. The 16 full papers and 45 short papers presented in these volumes were carefully reviewed and selected from 76 submissions.
