The aim of this book is to highlight the most promising lines of research, using new enabling technologies and methods based on AI/ML techniques to solve issues and challenges related to intelligent and computing systems. Intelligent computing easily collects data using smart technological applications like IoT-based wireless networks, digital healthcare, transportation, blockchain, 5.0 industry and deep learning for better decision making. Dr. Inam Ullah Khan is the Founder of Internet of Flying Vehicles-Lab at AI-EYS. Recently, he is working as Global Mentor/ Guest Lecturer at Impact Xcelerator, IE School of Science and Technology, Madrid, Spain. Previously, he was working as visiting researcher at King’s College London, United Kingdom. Also, he was faculty member at different universities in Pakistan which include Center for Emerging Sciences Engineering & Technology (CESET), Islamabad, Abdul Wali Khan University, Garden Campus, Timergara Campus, University of Swat & Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), Islamabad Campus. He completed his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Department of Electronic Engineering, Isra University, Islamabad Campus, School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS). Also, he did his M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering at Department of Electronic Engineering, Isra University, Islamabad Campus, School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS). He had done undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Computer Science from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan. He authored/coauthored more than 50 research articles in reputable journals, conferences and book chapters. His research interest includes Network System Security, Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Prevention, cryptography, Optimization techniques, WSN, IoT, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETS), Flying Ad Hoc Networks, and Machine Learning. He served in many international conferences as Session Chair/ Technical program committee member. Also, he served as Guest Editor with many prestigious international journals. Apart from that he is General Chair at International Conference on Trends and Innovations in Smart Technologies (ICTIST’22), virtually from London, United Kingdom. Dr. Mariya Ouaissa is currently a Professor in Cybersecurity and Networks at Faculty of Sciences Semlalia, Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech, Morocco. She is a Ph.D. graduated in 2019 in Computer Science and Networks, at the Laboratory of Modelisation of Mathematics and Computer Science from ENSAM-Moulay Ismail University, Meknes, Morocco. She is a Networks and Telecoms Engineer, graduated in 2013 from National School of Applied Sciences Khouribga, Morocco. She is a Co-Founder and IT Consultant at IT Support and Consulting Center. She was working for School of Technology of Meknes Morocco as a Visiting Professor from 2013 to 2021. She is member of the International Association of Engineers and International Association of Online Engineering, and since 2021, she is an "ACM Professional Member". She is Expert Reviewer with Academic Exchange Information Centre (AEIC) and Brand Ambassador with Bentham Science. She has served and continues to serve on technical program and organizer committees of several conferences and events and has organized many Symposiums/Workshops/Conferences as a General Chair also as a reviewer of numerous international journals. Dr. Ouaissa has made contributions in the fields of information security and privacy, Internet of Things security, and wireless and constrained networks security. Dr. Mariyam Ouaissa is currently an Assistant Professor in Networks and Systems at ENSA, Chouaib Doukkali University, El Jadida, Morocco. She received her Ph.D. degree in 2019 from National Graduate School of Arts and Crafts, Meknes, Morocco, and her Engineering Degree in 2013 from the National School of Applied Sciences, Khouribga, Morocco. She is a communication and networking researcher and practitioner with industry and academic experience. Dr Ouaissa's research is multidisciplinary that focuses on Internet of Things, M2M, WSN, vehicular communications and cellular networks, security networks, congestion overload problem and the resource allocation management and access control. She is serving as a reviewer for international journals and conferences including as IEEE Access, Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing. Since 2020, she is a member of "International Association of Engineers IAENG" and "International Association of Online Engineering", and since 2021, she is an "ACM Professional Member". She has published more than 30 research papers (this includes book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, and peer-reviewed conference manuscripts), 10 edited books, and 6 special issues as guest editor. She has served on Program Committees and Organizing Committees of several conferences and events and has organized many Symposiums / Workshops / Conferences as a General Chair.

Dr. Muhammad Fayaz is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at UCA’s School of Arts and Sciences. Before joining UCA, he worked as a Visiting Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the University of Malakand in Chakdara (Pakistan) for two years. Throughout his academic career, he has published over 100 research papers in the reputed Web of Science and Scopus indexed international journals and conferences. His research interests include combinatorial optimisation problems, machine learning, image processing, Internet of Things (IoT), fuzzy inference systems, and other related areas. He earned his PhD in Computer Engineering from Jeju National University (JNU) in Jeju, South Korea in 2019. During his studies, he worked at a Mobile Computing Lab at JNU. His responsibilities included preparing project proposals, designing IoT-based smart solutions, the application and implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms, and writing project reports. During his stay in South Korea, he also worked on several projects on the Underground System and the SAR-based Big Data Classification and Analysis of Disaster/Damage type, funded by the Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute, and Korean Aerospace Research Institute, respectively.

Dr. Rehmat Ullah earned his Ph.D. degree in electronics and computer engineering from Hongik University, South Korea. He currently works as an assistant professor at the school of technologies, Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. Previously, he worked as a research fellow (post-doctorate) at the University of St Andrews, UK, Queen’s University Belfast, UK, and as an assistant professor at Gachon University, South Korea. Dr. Rehmat has been a member of the technical program committees of several flagship conferences such as ACM ICN, ACM IMC, ACM MobiHoc, IEEE VTC, IEEE ICC, and he is an invited reviewer for numerous high-impact journals such as IEEE/ELSEVIER/ACM/WILEY. His work has appeared in more than 45 research papers in peer reviewed conferences and top journals such as IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Internet of Things journal, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, and Future Generation Computer Systems. He currently holds four patents, and two US patents are under review. His research focuses on the broader areas of network and distributed systems particularly the development of architectures, algorithms, and protocols for emerging paradigms, such as edge computing, Internet of Things, information centric networking, and 5G evolution and beyond with a recent focus on federated learning for edge computing systems. This includes the design, measurement studies, prototyping, testbed development, and performance evaluations.
