New topics, articles and exercises appear within a fresh new design. All the old teachers' favourites are still there - meaning it will still be a joy to teach with. Lindsay Clandfield is a teacher, teacher trainer and international author from Canada. He is the main author of Macmillan’s new award-winning and critically acclaimed adult course Global (2010) and was a part of the author team for the popular Straightforward Series. Lindsay has won prestigious recognition for his writing, most notably for Global and Dealing with Difficulties (Delta Publishing, with co-author Luke Prodromou) both of which earned him a visit to Buckingham Palace to receive an award from the Duke of Edinburgh. After teaching in Mexico, Spain and the UK Lindsay began his writing career with the website Onestopenglish. He became a regular after winning the Lesson Share competition three times in a row. Adrian Tennant has been involved in ELT for over twenty years and now divides his time between writing, teaching and running teacher training courses and workshops around the world. Adrian loves travelling, and having the opportunity to work with teachers in lots of different countries. In the past few years he has been fortunate enough to work in a variety of countries and contexts including Nepal, Malaysia, China, Azerbaijan, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Serbia, Burkina Faso, India and Sri Lanka. The Global Workbook complements and expands on the content of the Coursebook. It presents the language practice activities of the eWorkbook in an easy-to-use printed format.
