Viv Lambert studied French, German and Linguistics at Reading University in the UK. She has an RSA Diploma in TEFL and teaching experience in Europe and South East Asia. After several years travelling and teaching English, she returned to the UK to work in the publishing industry. Viv worked in house editing and commissioning children's books and Primary EFL materials at Nelson ELT, Dorling Kindersley and Longman ELT. She now works from her home near Oxford as a freelance editor and author specialising in Primary ELT materials. Viv also teaches French at her local Primary School and she is involved in teacher training in Oxford. She has written and co-written various primary courses including Twist and Shout, Next Stop and Faces for Macmillan, Mighty Movers and Fantastic Flyers for Delta, Fun with English and Action Packs for Balberry, Language Learner packs for Dorling Kindersley, Speaking Activities for Mary Glasgow, Enjoy Teaching English with Puffin Picture Books for Puffin, Action English and First Steps in English for Ladybird. Viv has two young children and she takes an active part in their primary school activities. Her hobbies include tennis, running, travel and languages.
