When a life crisis hits, too often marriages suffer. This book offers insights, skills, and clear direction to equip couples to respond in ways that strengthen rather than weaken their marriage.
Will the next crisis your marriage faces be its final hour--or its finest hour?

A child struggling with addiction. An aging parent who suffers a stroke. The loss of a job. The death of a loved one. A debilitating illness in your immediate family.

In times like those, you and your spouse need each other more than ever--and yet those are precisely the times that too many couples find themselves driven apart, unable to communicate. Choose instead to strengthen your marriage even when your world starts to crumble. Staying Power, written by two longtime couples who have faced numerous crises themselves, can help you learn to

· handle anger creatively, forgive freely, and persevere together
· nurture one another in powerful ways
· use new techniques for connecting both verbally and nonverbally in the midst of crises
· and much more

Even if they hit at your moment of greatest vulnerability, the crises that have destroyed so many marriages don't have to destroy yours.
