This is an excellent A4 sized paperback revision book written for the AQA Physics GCSE exam (best to check that the student is working towards this exam as all are a little different). The book includes loads of exam type questions which are really helpful. While I have worked in a scientific laboratory all my life don’t find Physics that easy especially anything to do with potential and actual energy, light. The sections on light refraction are some of the best seen. The revision booked is based on a three step revision plan 1. 'knowledge' an overview the requirements 2. 'retrieval' quick-fire questions and answers so Students can check out their knowledge 3. 'Practice' pages of exam-style questions. And answers are online. An excellent revision guide.

Good revision book that is well laid-out, has concise summaries of each topic and a good range of practice questions. It seems to cover the entire syllabus, which is always important! Useful.

A comprehensive revision book This is a really thick revision guide! It’s comprehensively written and covers a huge range of areas. Basically the entire AQA physics GCSE as you’d expect. It is well laid out, on the verge of being too busy but somehow manages to display all the knowledge clearly without information overload. It uses clear symbols and keys with good instructions to help you through the revision. It uses lots of tried and tested techniques such as retrieval practice to help. In summary, a really good guide for your revision. I would recommend that you start this early. It’s not going to be enough to do this in the final few weeks - unless you only have a few topics you need to brush up on. I recommend buying this in your final year GCSE in September, if not before.
