It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 10 fluency levels aimed at children in Year 2 and 3. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading. Fluency 3 books have a word count of 3840 words with an expected reading rate of 80 words per minute. The secret lives of humble rocks may hold more exciting and amazing stories than you might think. From being born in fire, to being blasted to Earth from space! Three very different rocks tell their own stories about how they were born and their incredible journeys.

Many of her publications have been sold around the world. She lives and works in the southwest of England, a stone’s throw from the sea. Daniel lives in a coastal village near Barcelona. He studied at an art school, specialising in illustration. After which, he worked developing video games for companies such as Ubisoft. He’s now passionate about children books, comic books and educational books.
