"Klasse! 1" is the first stage of a stimulating three-part German course, catering for a wide range of abilities. It is fully in line with the Neue Rechtschreibung and comes complete with a "Euro pack" (including updated Student's Book, Workbook and Repromaster pages, and cassette recordings), making the transition to the Euro in 2002 as straightforward as possible. A software package (Klasse! Informatik), available from Camsoft, provides an integrated IT component that enables students to practise and improve their German while using the computer. The Teacher's Book contains cross-references to the revised National Curriculum guidelines, notes and answers to all activities, transcripts of all the listening activities, suggestions for further differentiation and follow-up work.
