Inbali Iserles is a best-selling author and irrepressible animal lover. She is one of the authors behind the New York Times bestselling Survivors series. Her first book, The Tygrine Cat, won the 2008 Calderdale Children’s Book of the Year Award. The Tygrine Cat: On the Run, was listed among The Independent’s “50 books every child should read.” She now lives in Cambridge with her family, where she is fellow of the Royal Literary Fund. Yana Kozak is a children’s book illustrator from Ukraine. She earned a degree in journalism and worked for several years for newspapers and TV shows. For the past four years, she has been doing what she always dreamed of doing, being a full-time children’s book illustrator. When she was a child, her grandmother was her biggest influence, always telling her fascinating stories. These stories are why Yana loves to fantasize about new stories and turns them into illustrations.
