Since the publication of his first title in 1976, Colin McNaughton has produced over 70 books, many of which he has both written and illustrated including Have you seen who’s just moved in Next Door to Us?, winner of the Kurt Maschler Award, Jolly Roger, winner of a British Book Award, and Captain Abdul's Little Treasure. As well as storybooks Colin is renowned as a humorous poet and is now recognized as one of Britain’s leading illustrators and authors. The greatest influences on his work are the comics, comic annuals and Saturday morning cinema serials of his childhood. Colin is married with two sons and lives in London.
