Lynn Plourde (www.lynnplourde.com) is the author of more than thirty children’s books including Baby Bear's Not Hibernating, Moose, of Course, and Lost Trail. Her books have received numerous awards, including a Lupine Honor, Maine Student Book Award, Maine Literary Award, and Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award. Lynn is a “teaching author” who visits many schools and shares writing advice. She lives in Winthrop, Maine. Teri Weidner got her start at Cricket magazine in 1989. Since that time she has illustrated more than twenty books for children, including Baby Bear's Not Hibernating. She lives with her family in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Poor Baby Bear is so exhausted from staying up too late in the fall, that now he can’t wake up in the spring. Even his old friends, Moose, Owl, and Hare have no luck waking the tired little bear. A few well-placed pecks from Mother Robin does the trick and Baby Bear finally awakes just in time to do a little babysitting himself.
