Set in the mountains of Bhutan, The Last Snow Leopard is a powerful story about the special connection between an endangered animal and a girl trying to save her family. Twelve-year-old Emma's father is a UN Special Peace Adviser and hardly ever home, and when he does return he's at war with her older brother Harley. Emma is struggling to hold her family together and to find the courage to say what she really feels, so when her dad has to go to Bhutan for his job, Emma surprises herself by convincing him to take her and Harley with him.
