The spellbinding story is well written, straight to the point and very thought-provoking. The dialogue between Edgar and Lise, who works at his residential home, is delightful. Extraordinary Edgar is highly worth reading!

The book offers a credible and genuine picture of what it is like to be a child with Down’s syndrome. The story is told in a delicate language that is clearly characterised by the intention to convey a narrative from the point of view of someone with Down’s. Edgar has a huge heart and wants to make everyone happy, but that’s not always possible.
