“Expert wry humour and striking graphics”
The Bookseller
“Inquisitive, witty and framed by peppermint-green and softy inky scribbles, awash with intelligence and depth, it’s just lovely!”
Press Association
“Barnett and Klassen are a perfect team to deliver a smart and funny book that manages to have sophisticated connotations about the creation, intention and reception of art, as well as reassuring children about their own artistic development.”
BookTrust
“This sequel to the award- winning author/illustrator team’s equally offbeat Triangle is a typically original delight, full of minimalist images, dry humour and an undercurrent of philosophical debate.”
The Daily Mail
“Klassen, the master of shifty eyes, keeps us guessing, while Barnett’s text is ripe with comic self-doubt.”
The Evening Standard
