This is Spot's story and he tells it in his own words. Born rough on the streets of Brooklyn, he realises from an early age that he is destined to become a dog adventurer. One terrible day Spot's entire family are carted off by the dog police. Spot is broken-hearted and realises his mission is to search for his mother and brothers. He vows he will go everywhere and do everything he can to to reunited with them. Living rough as a dare-devil street dog, a series of remarkable events occur.

Zaro Weil lives in France. She has been a lot of things; dancer, theatre director, actress, poet, playwright, educator, quilt collector and historian, author, publisher, and a few other things. Her poetry for children has appeared in many anthologies. Her two most recent books, Cherry Moon and Spot Guevara, were highly acclaimed for their writing, design and presentation. Katy Riddell grew up in Brighton and was obsessed with drawing from a young age. She had plenty of encouragement from her parents, both artists and illustrators. Katy was originally drawn to Fine Art but rediscovered her love for illustrating children's books in her gap year. She loves working with children and currently runs an art club at her local school. Katy lives and works in Manchester.
