A fantastic collection celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Poetry Zone: created by acclaimed children’s poet Roger Stevens as a website where children and teenagers could send their poems and see them published. Since its inception, The Poetry Zone website has received more than a million visitors; Roger Stevens has read and published around 30,000 poems by children and teenagers from all around the world, offering advice and encouragement where needed while the site has featured interviews with a large number of children’s poets and included advice and information for teachers, as well as reviewing new poetry titles.

Roger Stevens visits schools, libraries and festivals performing his work and running workshops for young people and teachers. He is a National Poetry Day Ambassador. He has published thirty books of poetry for children and his latest collections are (with Brian Moses) The Waggiest Tails ‘Fun to read but also perceptive, sometimes moving’ (Books for Keeps) and with Sue Hardy-Dawson and Liz Brownlee, Apes to Zebras (An A-Z of Shape Poems).
Joe Decie is a well-known graphic novelist. His last novel published by Penguin was Collecting Sticks.
