A.F. Harrold is an English poet who writes and performs for adults and children. He spends his time showing off on stage, writing poems and books, and stroking his beard (it helps churn the ideas). He is the author of Carnegie Medal short-listed The Worlds We Leave Behind (illustrated by Levi Pinfold), the Fizzlebert Stump series (Sarah Horne), and the CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medal long-listed The Imaginary (illustrated by Emily Gravett). The Imaginary has since been adapted into an animated film by the former Studio Ghibli lead producer, available in the UK on Netflix in 2024. He lives in Reading with a stand-up comedian and two cats. Find out more on X @afharrold and Instagram @a.f.harrold.

Jack Viant is an illustrator and designer from Plymouth, UK. He aims to connect with adults and children through his work, bringing joy where possible by channeling the ridiculous. Jack is the illustrator of the Hookwell's School for Proper Pirates books in the Reading Planet series.
