Amy writes for children of all ages. Her picture books have been shortlisted for several book awards, including the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2013 and the Booktrust Best Books Awards 2014.

Amy was born in Eastbourne and enjoyed a wild imagination when she was a child (which included 13 imaginary friends). She is passionate about encouraging imagination in children and is often invited to visit schools.

She regularly produces the ‘Writing for Children’ pages for the bestselling Writing Magazine and also runs writing workshops for aspiring children’s authors.

Amy lives in Devon with her husband and five young children. When she’s not off on an adventure with them, Amy enjoys drinking tea, climbing trees and dancing. She is yet to master doing all three at the same time.

Ben Cort is a hugely popular illustrator. His picture books have been published in 18 languages, in 20 countries worldwide. His Underpants books with Claire Freedman have now sold over a million copies.

Ben lives in Bedfordshire with his wife and two children.
