"For all that it's set on ice, this story really is packed full of warmth. With a light touch and flawed characters, it's a perfect picture book for opening conversations."

BookBairn

"The water might be icy, but this story is full of warmth and laughter... An important message about friendships and setting boundaries delivered with a light touch and lots of laughs."

Patrick and Flippa are best friends-they love watching clouds together. Every day, Flippa dives for their dinner and makes sure that Patrick's tummy is full of fish . . . so why does he always have that empty bear feeling? Is it because Flippa's always in charge? The water might be ICY, but this story is full of WARMTH and LAUGHTER.
