M Christina Butler was born in Scarborough and now lives in Driffield, East Yorkshire. Christina has worked as a nurse, a pre-school nursery supervisor, and a governor at her local primary school, as well as writing a number of children's books, including ONE SNOWY NIGHT, also illustrated by Tina, for Little Tiger Press. Tina Macnaughton was born in Edinburgh and did a BA Honours in Illustration before going on to work as a graphic designer for Grosvenor of London and Hasbro.
