Jonathan Emmett gave up architecture in 1995 to pursue a career as a writer and has since had huge success with his series of Mole stories Bringing Down the Moon, Diamond in the Snow, No Place Like Home, A Secret Worth Sharing and The Best Gift of All. He also developed two stories of Hilltop Farm: The Pig's Knickers and A Spot of Bother, also illustrated by Vanessa Cabban. He lives in Nottingham with his family.
Vanessa Cabban was awarded a degree in illustration from Brighton University and an MA from the Royal College of Art. As well as the Mole books, Vanessa illustrated the bestselling series Dear Tooth Fairy, Dear Father Christmas and Dear Mermaid, written by Alan Durant, and collaborated with Jeanne Willis on Emily Peppermint's Toy School.
The charming mole returns with his friends for some spring-themed fun in the sequel to Bringing Down the Moon.
Mole thinks his burrow is small and dark and dull. So he sets off to find somewhere big and bright and beautiful instead. His friends are full of ideas, but finding a new home that is just right is, as Mole discovers, no simple matter!
