A lovely paint palette of a book, filled with positivity and finding the delight in every day.

Rebecca Cobb, Waterstones Children’s Book Prize winning author

When a little girl asks her grandad for his help painting a rainbow, she thinks he might tell her the colours she needs. Instead he reveals that rainbows grow out of hope, kindness and helping others. She learns that even on the gloomiest of days, a rainbow can light up the sky and fill your heart with Love. A gorgeously illustrated lyrical children’s tale that is a pleasure to read.

The Sun

A delightful rhyming picture book that reads aloud well and offers a warm re-assuring message for young children at a time when it is most needed. The warmth of the relationship between child and grandparent shines through the story, highlighting its own rainbow. Gorgeous, bright illustrations work well with the text, as does the colour palette chosen for each double-page spread. The last few pages encourage children to make their own rainbows of the things they love.
