Born in Sudan, Hamza Yassin moved to UK when he was young and settled in Scotland following the completion of his Masters Degree. He began his career as a wildlife cameraman and made his first television appearance on The One Show, going on to become Ranger Hamza for CBeebies live action show Let’s Go for a Walk. Since then, Hamza has appeared on The One Show, Countryfile and is a presenter on the BBC’s Animal Park. He has also presented his own Channel 4 documentaries, Scotland: My Life in the Wild and Scotland: Escape to the Wilderness and he presented his own BBC One Primetime TV programme Hamza Strictly: Birds of Prey.

Louise Forshaw discovered drawing at a young age and has rarely stopped drawing since! Studying Illustration and Animation at Newcastle College she graduated in 2008. Turning her attention to children's books she now works from her small home studio, with three Jack Russell terriers to keep her company
