Hannah loves gorillas but has never seen one. Her father's too busy to take her to the zoo - or for anything else come to that. One of the best picture books for the over-threes I've seen in a long time.
The author won the illustration section of the Hans Christian Andersen Award for 2000. His previous title "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" won the Kurt Maschler Award and "Zoo" won the Kate Greenaway Medal.
