Dinosaurs aren't known for their drawing – they're known for their stamping and stomping and ROARING! All except for one creative young dinosaur who just can't seem to stop! He transforms rocks, chalk, sticks and mud into the most wonderful works of art - much to the confusion of his fierce, fighting dinosaur family. But when everyone hears the THUD of a terrifying T-Rex, they soon see just how effective art can be. Especially art in the form of an even bigger dinosaur!Another brilliant rhyming story from this exciting pairing; author, Elli Woollard and illustrator, Steven Lenton. A vibrant and uplifting story about the joy and the power of art - and daring to be different. Dinosaurs Don't Draw is a visual treat and a delight to read aloud.

Om bidragsyterne

Elli Woollard is a unique talent who started writing stories after an embarrassing incident in which her youngest son broke Michael Rosen's glasses. In addition to picture books, she also writes children's poems. Her snappy rhymes, catchy rhythms and witty stories are sure to make her a huge success. She is the author of The Giant of Jum and The Dragon and the Nibblesome Knight, illustrated by award-winning Benji Davies and The Great Gran Plan, her first book with illustrator Steven Lenton. She has also beautifully adapted Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories, illustrated by Marta Altes. Elli lives in London with her four children, her husband, two guinea pigs and a cat.

Steven Lenton
is originally from Congleton in Cheshire, where his family run a pom-pom factory, but he now splits his time between Brighton and London, where he works from his shared studio. Steven has a BA and MA in animation and has worked as a successful animator and art director for children's television. Steven is the illustrator of the Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam series (Nosy Crow) and Fairytale Frankie (Orchard Books). He also illustrates Frank Cottrell-Boyce's fiction for Macmillan and this is his second picture book with Elli Woollard.
