She started life working in children’s and pre-teen magazines before moving into the world of publishing. She’s now a freelance writer full time and writes activity books, treasuries, novels and storybooks for children, as well as publishing her own magazine. Holly is an illustrator and mural artist living near the sea in Liverpool, UK. She has always loved children’s books and thinks they can be enjoyed by everyone, not just children. Holly has a masters degree in Illustration but has also worked as a bookshop assistant and barista (a fancy name for someone who makes coffee). Holly is vegetarian and loves animals – her favourite animals include cats, dogs and hedgehogs.
