David Bedford was born in the West Country and now lives in East Anglia, by the sea, with his wife and two children. He has a PhD in Biology and worked as a biologist in England and the USA, studying antibiotics. David has been a full-time writer since 1997. Caroline Pedler lives in St Agnes in Cornwall and has been illustrating children's books since 1999. She also illustrates greetings cards and paints on canvas.
