Atinuke is a traditional oral storyteller, and the author of over 30 books for children. Most of Atinuke’s books are set on the amazing African continent where she spent her childhood in the country of Nigeria. Atinuke is the author of the best selling fiction series Anna Hibiscus, as well theThe No.1 Car Spotter and Too Small Tola series. Atinuke also writes picture books - including the bestselling Baby Goes to Market illustrated by Angela Brooksbank. Her non-fiction book Africa, Amazing Africa is illustrated by Mouni Fedeg, and Brilliant Black British History is illustrated by Kingsley Nebechi. Lauren Tobia is the illustrator of several books for children including Are You Sure, Mother Bear?, written by Amy Hest, the Let's Go series, written by Caryl Hart, and the multi-award-winning Anna Hibiscus picture books, written by Atinuke.
