I have thoroughly enjoyed some of her other titles, but this series is where she excels. Each word is straight from her heart and each one finds a special resting place in her story. If you have any trace of a sentimental bone in your body then you must read these books. They are all far above average with WINTER SOLSTICE being the whipped cream and cherry on top

Always With a Book
Elin Hilderbrand closes out her Winter Street series beautifully, with one more heart-warming look into the lives of the Quinn family. Once again, these characters pull at the heartstrings, and the reader is transported to the Winter Street Inn, feeling like another member of the family. Hilderbrand's writing is warm, like a nice cup of hot chocolate by the fire, and the novel is filled with moments that both bring joy and heartache. Though the reader may both laugh and cry, they won't be disappointed with the overall story
