Three sisters battle against their Nyx-given powers. Can they, the rulers of Fate, escape their own destiny?
A clever, twisting, turning story of the three Fates - not a trio of bitter, withered hags who cruelly preside over human lives but as fierce and determined sisters in battle against the vicious gods of Olympus. I absolutely believed this novel, and the brilliant way in which the story of Atalanta and Meleager became the fight for human destiny and the future of mortals. The ending - like the rest of the novel - is truly sublime, and becomes a reflection on free will and fate, on women's voices and the power of myth that spoke to me on so many levels. This is a really thrilling and totally original story of Greek mythology that I cannot recommend highly enough!

'Lyrical, imaginative, visceral, urgent, moving, adventurous. Rose Blyth brings The Fates startlingly back to life. This is how the ancient Greeks would have known The Fates - and their own fates. - Sean Lusk
