As Allied squadrons arrive to liberate Corsica from the grip of the Nazis, Bill Cottrell, an undercover British officer, finds himself betrayed and captured by career criminal turned Gestapo officer, Felix Muller who is embroiled in a getaway plan involving a fortune in stolen diamonds. Fifty years later, after returning to Corsica to relive old memories, Bill discovers that the ghosts of the past might not be dead. Old soldiers, the Corsican Mafia, an American millionaire and locals with scores to settle are hunting the diamonds in a murderous knot of intrigue and violence.
