Abi's plays have been widely performed at theatres across the country, including Donmar Warehouse, Traverse Theatre and Hampstead Theatre. Her critically acclaimed drama My Fragile Heart was recently screened on ITV. Her plays published by Oberon include Splendour, Tiny Dynamite, 27 and Lovesong.

Abi was the scriptwriter for BBC prime-time drama The Hour and was nominated for a BAFTA award for Best Original Screenplay for her Margaret Thatcher biopic, The Iron Lady.
