“What should those who choose to study in Chinese higher education expect to gain? Knowledge of a different world or finding a new ‘me’? This book deals with these questions from varied and valuable insights, and in illuminating ways. If the true meaning of learning is “not to convince but to be thought-provoking”, then this book achieves this perfectly.” (Professor Juan Hu, Renmin University of China)
