“This is simply one of the best books on the global entertainment industry. Drawing on a wealth of empirical evidence, Artz focuses a clear, critical eye on the dominant players and the resistance in form and content that is mounting a challenge to Hollywood hegemony.” Vincent Mosco, author of To the Cloud: Big Data in a Turbulent World "The time is ripe for a new survey and analysis of global media, and this book provides both in an accessible and scholarly form.
