Chi-yue Chiu is Choh-Ming Li Professor of Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ying-yi Hong is Choh-Ming Li Professor of Marketing at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.We found this book to be well-organized, accurate, and engaging. We plan to use it in many of the classes we teach and are likely to cite it in much of our research and writing in the future. The editors have done a thorough job of compiling articles from an array of subfields, each answering questions concerning the degree to which culture may be affecting diverse psychological phenomena. It is clear that the current series has taken into account a wide array of fields that could benefit from considering culture as a potential variable when one is predicting behavior. Ultimately, the series paints an all-encompassing picture of where the field of cultural psychology stands with regard to theory and methodology, and would be ideal for anyone, either scholar or student, interested in how culture interacts with well-studied psychological phenomena.
