Dr. Ivan Gratchev is an associate professor at the School of Engineering & Built Environment, Griffith University, Australia. His research interests are in civil engineering and engineering education, and he has published numerous research articles in leading international journals and international conferences. Associate Professor Gratchev has taught several engineering courses using a project-based approach. His teaching achievements have been recognized by his peers and students through several learning and teaching awards and grants. He has also been recognized as a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Associate Professor Gratchev’s innovative approach to teaching has resulted in the publication of two textbooks, and he has also edited a book on advanced teaching practices for post-COVID times.

Dr. Krishnasamy T. Selvan has been a professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SSN College of Engineering, India, since June 2012. From early 2005 to mid-2012, he was with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. From early 1988 to early 2005, he was with SAMEER–Centre for Electromagnetics, Chennai, India. Dr. Selvan's professional interests include higher education, electromagnetics, electromagnetic arrays and antenna theory, design, and measurements. In these areas, he has authored or co-authored several journal and conference papers. He co-edited, with Karl Warnick, the book 'Teaching Electromagnetics: Innovative Approaches and pedagogical strategies' (2021). Dr. Selvan has been involved in several major conferences and workshops, both as a speaker and as an organizer. He was a member of the Education Committee of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society from 2006 to 2018.

Dr. Hugo G. Espinosa is the Deputy Dean (Learning and Teaching) for the Sciences Group at Griffith University, Australia. He is a Senior Member and STEM Ambassador of IEEE, and currently serves as Chair of the Educational Initiatives Program within the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society. His approach to teaching is based on innovative techniques, such as experiential learning, project-based learning, and flipped classroom. His evidence-based teaching methods have been published in journal articles, conference proceedings, and book chapters. Dr. Espinosa is the co-editor of Advancing Engineering Education Beyond COVID: A Guide for Educators (2023). In the same year, he received the IEEE AP-S Donald G. Dudley Jr. Undergraduate Teaching Award for his outstanding contributions to engineering education. He has also received the Griffith Engineering Lecturer of the Year award in 2020, 2021, and 2023, as well as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation for Excellence in Teaching in 2015, 2019, 2022, and 2023.
