 Ronghuai Huang is a professor in Faculty of Education in Beijing Normal University (BNU) in which educational technology is one of the National Key Subjects, and director of R&D Center for Knowledge Engineering, which is dedicated to syncretizingartificial intelligence and human learning.

Prof. Huang has being engaged in the research on educational technology as well as knowledge engineering since 1997. He has accomplished or is working on over 60 projects, including those of key science and technology projects to be tackled in the national “Ninth Five-year Plan”, “Tenth Five-year Plan” and “Eleventh Five-year Plan” and the projects in the national 863 plan as well as others financed by the government. His ideas have been widely spread, with more than 160 academic papers and over 20 books published in the domestic and overseas.

Prof. Huang is very active in academic organizations both at home and abroad. He was Co-chairs of the Program Committee of the 6th and 8th Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education, and chairs of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE2006), the 10th IASTED International Conference on Computers and Advanced Technology in Education(CATE2007) and the 5th International Conference on Wireless, Mobile and Ubiquitous Technologies in Education (WMUTE2008). He was the General Co-Chairs of the 5th International Conference on Advanced Data Mining and Applications (ADMA2009) and the International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2010). He is editor-in-chief of Global Chinese Journal for Computers in Education (GCJCE). In addition, he is currently serving on the Executive Committee of Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (2008-2011), Chairman of CSCL2011 post Conference, Chairman of the 13th International Conference on Advanced Learning Technology (ICALT 2013) and Chairman of the 1st International Conference on Smart Learning Environment (ICSLE2014).

 Dr. Marek Wosinski is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology and Senior Sustainability Scientist at the Global Institute of Sustainability, Arizona State University (ASU).  He received his degrees in psychology from the University of Warsaw (Poland). After internships in Montreal and London he taught at Warsaw University, Jagiellonian University in Krakow and Silesian University in Katowice. For many years he was also involved in teachers education as a Director of Center for Teachers Education.  In 1990 he began teaching at ASU. Among other basic psychology courses, Dr. Wosinski has been teaching the course Multicultural Perspective on Community Development. In the year 2000 he was a finalist for the ASU Teacher of the Year Award and he received the 2008 Outstanding Educator Award granted by the Society for Community Research and Action.  He published 4 books and 60 articles in Polish and international journals.

 Through his entire career Dr. Wosinski has been very active on the international arena. He was teaching as a visiting professor in the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden. As a guest lecturer and motivational speaker he has been presenting throughout Europe, North/South America and Australia to diversified audiences:  teenagers, teachers, medical doctors, managers, parents, senior citizens, and others.  He organized two Summer Institutes on Community at Arizona State University with participation of students, faculty and local community professionals. He presented papers to numerous international conferences. In a partnership with the Jain Irrigation Systems, Ltd and Gandhi Research Foundation in Jalgaon (India), he facilitated leadership-training workshops entitled Empowerment for Peace through Leadership in Agribusiness and Sustainability, offered for young community leaders from Africa.

In March 2014 Dr. Wosinski become coordinator of a new project Global Network for Sustainable Development (GNSD) created in frame of the Global Institute of Sustainability at Arizona State University. It is an Internet platform aiming to promote building global partnerships in the area of sustainability and environmentaleducation among high school students.  In September 2014 Dr. Wosinski, became a President of a new partnership organization Sustainable Transition Consulting, LLC,, a member of Smart Cities Council. The organization affiliates about 40 international experts on different aspects of a smart city, and is targeting the 100 Smart Cities for India project.  Recently SusTranCon signed a partnership agreement with the Arizona Technology Council for organizing an international conference on Smart Learning Environment in a Sustainable Smart City.
