Dr. Subodh Chandra Pal is Assistant Professor and has been working in the Postgraduate Department of Geography, The University of Burdwan, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. He received his Ph.D. in Geography from Visva-Bharati (Central University in India) in 2015. His main fields of expertise are fluvial geomorphology, pedo-geomorphology, land degradation, soil erosion, gully erosion, landslide vulnerability, climate change, water resources monitoring and management and published more than hundreds international and national research articles in various renowned journals. His research work has been funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. Dr. Pal has served as a reviewer for many International reputed journals.
Dr. Uday Chatterjee is Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography, Bhatter College, Dantan, Kharagpur, West Bengal, India and Applied Geographer with a Post-Graduate in Applied Geography at Utkal University and Doctoral Degrees in Applied Geography at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha, India. He has contributed various research papers published in various reputed national and international journals and edited book volumes. He has jointly edited books entitled ‘Harmony with nature: Illusions and Elusions from Geographer’s perspective in the 21st Century’ and ‘Land Reclamation and Restoration Strategies for Sustainable Development’ (November 2021, Edition: 1st, Publisher: Elsevier, Editor: Dr. Gouri Sankar Bhunia, Dr. Uday Chatterjee, Dr. Anil Kashyap, Dr. Pravat Kumar Shit.
Asish Saha is currently engaging as a Ph.D. Research Scholar in the Department of Geography, The University of Burdwan, Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. He received his Master’s degree in Geography from The University of Burdwan and Post Graduate diploma in Geoinformatics from Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of West Bengal, in collaboration with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata. His fields of expertise are Climate Change, Climate Variability, Regional Climate Modelling, Hydro-climatic extremes, Water Resources Management, Water Quality, Hazard and Risk Assessment and Statistical Modelling. He has published more than eighty international and national research articles in various renowned journals like Springer, Elsevier, Willey and Taylor & Francis group.
Dipankar Ruidas is currently engaging as a M.Phil. Research Scholar in the Department of Geography, The University of Burdwan, Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. His prior fields of expertise are Water Resources Management and Water Quality. He has published more than ten international and national research articles in various renowned journals like Springer and Elsevier group. His research work has been funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India.
