S. Irudaya Rajan is Chairman of the International Institute of Migration and Development (IIMAD), India, and chair of the KNOMAD (the Global Knowledge Partnership on Migration and Development) thematic working group on internal migration and urbanization, the World Bank, Washington. Dr Rajan is Founding Editor in Chief of Migration and Development (Taylor & Francis) and the editor of two Routledge series – the India Migration Report and the South Asia Migration Report.

R. B. Bhagat is Professor and Head of the Department of Migration and Urban Studies, International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, India. He is also the convenor of the South Asia Centre for Labour Mobility and Migrants (SALAM) – a knowledge hub established with the support from ILO, IOM and UN-Women. He also served as Chief Editor of Demography India – an official journal of the Indian Association for the Study of Population (IASP).
