Sacha Craddock is an independent art critic, writer and curator living in London. Frances Aviva Blane is a painter working in london. She studied post grad painting at The Slade. She is a Jerwood Award winner and has exhibited in the John Moores Painting Prize, The Ruth Borchard self portrait Prize and Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. In 2014 she showed with Bacon and Bourgeois in Belgium at De Queeste Art. and in 2016/2017 had a solo show at the German Embassy in London. More recently she has had solo shows both in London and Europe. In 2020 director Penny Woolcock made a documentary about her called 'Who is Frances Aviva Blane?' and also a film of Blane and Susie Orbach in Blane’s studio called 'Two Metres Apart'. She is represented by Zuleika Gallery (London and Woodstock) and De Queeste Art in Belgium and www.ecartspace.com online. Penny Woolcock has just completed a new ‘Post Covid 2022’ film featuring new work.
