Frances Aviva Blane is a painter working in london. She studied post grad painting at The Slade. She is a Jerwood Award winner and has exhibited in the John Moores Painting Prize and Ruth Borchard self portrait Prize. In 2014 she showed with Bacon and Bourgeois in Belgium and in 2016/2017 had a solo show at the German Embassy in London. More recently she has had solo shows both in London and Europe. She is represented by Zuleika Gallery (London and Woodstock), De Queeste Art in Belgium and www.ecartspace.com.
MORE contains a selection of Blane’s paintings, drawings and works on paper made between 2015 and 2018. The essay is written by Mark Gisbourne the noted curator, historian and author. Gisbourne lives and works in Italy.
