Rebecka Evans RN, CPNP, PMHCNS-BC is a pediatric and psychiatric advanced practice nurse with additional training in functional and integrative medicine. She currently works at Bedford Pediatrics in Bedford, MA and maintains a private practice in Belmont, MA. Rebecka is also a PhD Candidate in Nursing at Northeastern University, Bouve School of Nursing in Boston, MA. Rebecka’s research interests are related to the intersection of primary care and mental health, with a specific focus on gender and sexual minority populations. Ann Polcari Ph.D, MSN, BSN, PMHCNS-BC is an Associate Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing, Northeastern University, Boston, MA, where she teaches and directs the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. Her research interests focus on developmental risks and protective factors that contribute to anxiety, depression, and behavioral health problems in children, adolescents, and young adults, particularly related to parenting influences that prevent or promote recovery from childhood stress and adversity. Much of her nursing career and multidisciplinary research activities were spent at McLean Hospital, Belmont, MA for over 30 years. She currently maintains a practice in South Easton, MA as an Advance Practice Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in both Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health and Adult specialties.
