Evelin Witruk is a full professor of Educational and Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Leipzig.
Shally Novita was a team member in the department of Educational and Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Leipzig, later at the Leibniz Institute for Education in Bamberg, and now at the Padjadjaran University, Sumedang in Indonesia.
The main topics of the book are learning disabilities, trauma, resilience and coping with stress, and violence, peace building and disaster management. The authors of the book articles are from Indonesia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Iran, Ethiopia, Morrocco, Portugal and Germany.
