He works internationally for companies and governments, as a lawyer and a commercial advisor, as well as teaching oil and gas law at various universities. Peter is the author of several oil and gas law books and has also appeared as an expert witness on oil and gas matters. He is the emeritus editor of the Journal of World Energy Law and Business, former editor of the International Energy Law Review, and former chairman of the oil and gas law committee of the International Bar Association.
