JOHN DAVIES spent much of his ministry as an Anglican priest in the townships of South Africa where he learned the importance of discovering the contemporary relevance of ancient Christian. He served as Principal of the College of the Ascension, Selly Oak, and as Bishop of Shrewsbury. He is a member of the Iona Community and lives in North Wales.
