"A must-read for those longing to know more about modern-day miracles"Leading New Testament scholar Craig Keener demonstrates that miraculous works of God, which have been part of the experience of the church around the world since Christianity began, continue into the present."I invite anyone who thinks that miracles are the stuff of prescientific fantasy or that these supernatural signs simply don't happen today to pick up this book. I guarantee that he or she will be overwhelmed by the sheer number of credible accounts presented in these pages. Miracles Today is intelligently and engagingly written and will appeal to believers, nonbelievers, and honest seekers."--Most Reverent Robert Barron, Bishop of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota"Dr. Keener's superlative scholarship is evident. As a physician, I found Keener's descriptions of physical healing credible and compelling. This is a must-read for those longing to know more about modern-day miracles."--Joseph Bergeron, MD, author of The Crucifixion of Jesus: A Medical Doctor Examines the Death and Resurrection of Christ"Keener has done it again. In the midst of a global pandemic, in a time in which many people, including me, have suffered so much loss and so many deaths of loved ones, he encourages us to continue to trust God for miracles today and to believe that God is at work in our world."--Lisa Bowens, Princeton Theological Seminary"Here's clear and compelling evidence that God is still in the miracle business today. You'll be encouraged and inspired, led to wonder and worship, by Keener's persuasive research into God's supernatural activity among us. Don't miss this book!"--Lee Strobel, founding director, Strobel Center for Evangelism and Applied Apologetics, Colorado Christian University; author of The Case for Miracles"Miracles Today defends the claim that God still acts in miraculous ways in the contemporary world. Even in this ambiguous world, these miraculous signs offer inspiration and hope, pointing to a world where suffering and death will be no more."--C. Stephen Evans, University Professor of Philosophy and Humanities, Baylor University"This book is nothing short of stunning!"--J. P. Moreland, Talbot School of Theology, Biola University
